Subject : The Sand Creek Massacre
Date/Time : 11/29/2011 7:42:31 AM

1864 - The Sand Creek Massacre occurred in Colorado when a militia led by Colonel John Chivington, killed at least 400 peaceful Cheyenne and Arapaho Indians who had surrendered and had been given permission to camp.

At one time I read a diary by a man who lived in the area of this slaughter. One of the saddest days for all of mankind. A horrific travesty!

Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to your house. Knock-knock. Who's there? The chicken.

Try it, it is clean and to funny. Everyone laughs.

Subject : States with "New" names
Date/Time : 9/13/2011 11:13:36 AM

Hmm, I just thought about this one: There are three states in the USA that I believe should be changing their names - New York, New Jersey, and New Mexico.

Since these states are no longer "New", should we call them York, Jersey, and perhaps change New Mexico to East Arizona and Arizona to West Arizona?

Thank you Dad for the life you gave me. I read Romans 6 today: Dead to sin, Alive to God. The words are comforting and reassuring.

Tax his land, tax his bed,
Tax the table at which he's fed.
Tax his tractor, tax his mule,
Teach him taxes are the rule.

Tax his cow, tax his goat,
Tax his pants, tax his coat.
Tax his ties, tax his shirt,
Tax his work, tax his dirt.

Tax his tobacco, tax his drink.
Tax him if he tries to think.
Tax his cigars, tax his beers,
If he cries, then tax his tears.

Tax his car, tax his gas,
Find other ways to tax his a**.
Tax all he has, then let him know
That you won't be done 'till he has no dough.

When he screams and hollers,
Tax him some more.
Tax him 'till he's good and sore.
Then tax his coffin, tax his grave.
Tax the sod in which he's laid.

Put these words upon his tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom."

When he's gone, do not relax.
It's time to apply the inheritance tax.
